TIME Excellence Lecture: C. Zombanakis

TIME Excellence Lecture: C. Zombanakis

Costis Zombanakis graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Government and a Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

He worked briefly as a journalist at The Economist magazine and in banking at Barclays.  While at Barclays, he got involved in a small olive-oil project and decided then to pursue a career as an entrepreneur in the food industry.

In 2008, he sold his coffee company (which included the Freddoccino brand) to the Swiss multinational food and beverage company Nestle.

Costis has a strong interest in sports, and basketball in particular.  He is the major shareholder of the Rethymno Cretan Kings, one of Greece’s most successful basketball teams; its community-based sports model has won wide recognition in Greece with its focus on education and volunteerism.

He has recently created a company for the production and export of Cretan food.

The event is for TIME students and faculty exclusively and will be held in English.

Scheduled for Thursday 16-11-2017 @16:30 Room A2-3
